University of North Florida
Alpha Phi was founded in 1872 by ten of the first female students at Syracuse University. From our founding, the values of sisterhood, service and scholarship have been the foundation of Alpha Phi. In our history, the leaders of our organization built the first sorority house in America, established the first traveling consultant program, created the Alpha Phi Foundation to support women’s heart health in 1956 and launched the first sorority website. Alpha Phi is a home for women at 167 collegiate campuses across North America.

President: Emily Lay
My name is Emily Lay and I am the chapter president for Alpha Phi at UNF I am an Elementary Education major, with a love for all things silly and goofy. Working with kids is the perfect place for me. I have a lot of love for Panhellenic women and the values that these women hold. I'm constantly finding new role models and being inspired to be a better version of myself. I am grateful to be apart of this community.
